Create Feature

1. Log on to the Lazsa Platform and navigate to Product.
2. On the Products screen, click a product for which you want to create a feature.
3. Click the Features tab, click + New Feature and do the following:
   1. Select the phases that you want to include in the feature from the following:
      • Define
      • Design
      • Develop
      • Deploy
   2. Enter a name and description for the feature.
   3. Add an owner for the feature.
   4. Add teams or individual members to the feature.
   5. Add user stories that you have created for this feature in the configured agile tool. You can search for Jira stories and add them.
   6. Click Create.

Once you provide the basic details of the feature, you can add additional details for the feature immediately or at a later stage. See Create Feature - Additional Details.

1. To delete a feature, on the feature screen, click the ellipsis (...) and click Delete.
2. To edit a feature, on the feature screen click the ellipsis (...) and click View Details or Edit. Make the required changes to the feature details and click Save.

You can join a release or associate a feature with a release in the following different ways:

• From the Feature screen

  1. Click on a feature to open the features screen.

  2. Hover below Release Name and click the edit icon.

  3. From the dropdown list, select a release that you want to join. All the features that are associated with the product are seen in the dropdown list.

• From the Releases tab using the Manage Features option

  1. On the Releases tab of the product screen, click the release that you want to join.

  2. Click the ellipsis (...) in the top right corner of the release tile and click Manage Features.

  3. Under Add Features, click the feature that you want to associate with the release. All the features that are part of the product but have not joined any release are seen in the dropdown.

Note:

When a feature joins a release, the fix version of the release is automatically applied to all the epics, stories, tasks, and defects of that feature. The same behavior applies when a feature is removed from a release.
